You do realize that Whitman preceded Kelly? I think Swarbrick deserves the credit here. What’s critical is that ND upgraded in these three areas and that they work together.

As far as Kelly, as I’ve, yawn, said since day one, he’ll get ND to a BCS level. Not sure above that. I do think a lot of people are going to feel silly about the things they went apoplectic about that had nothing to do with anything.

Program fixing is not about one play call, it’s about daily commitment and organization.

I have no problem recognizing contributions of anyone who contributes. There are a lot of people associated with the team doing good work this season, including Brian Kelly.

What I have a problem with is yet another wishy-washy article about nothing meaningful that, if Kelly succeeds, will be used somehow as evidence as he “knew it all along”, and if Kelly fails, can’t be attributed to anything.
