(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/elkabong/dev.ndnation.com/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6131It’s definitely going to be a fantastic game, but it will be a far more high-scoring game than the experts are predicting because the offensive athletes on both teams are simply too good be stopped. Golson won’t need to be a surgeon. Theo Riddick, Cierre Wood and GAIII will run wild. Golson will simply need to be a game manager. Irish 35 Tide 31 in OT.
]]>Prediction: Golson plays out of his gourd and dissects the Bama defense like a microvascular surgeon. ND 30 Bama 27.
]]>iris and scc, what he said.
]]>iris will beat bama yet again for 6th time count on it scc on its way out the big bullies are back in town go irish
]]>Landry Jones missed his targets because the Irish generated a pretty good amount of pressure with only three guys, and he was forced to dump the ball off in a huge hurry. I don’t think you watched the game very closely…
]]>In critical games under Kelly, where the Irish have lost, a critical factor – perhaps not the lone one – has been that Brian and Bob have failed to consistently bring pressure on the opposing team’s QB. For inexplicable reasons, Coach Diaco inexplicably makes the same mistake, wrongly thinkly 3 or 4 rushers can create pressure on the opposing QB. It’s simply false.
If you study the Sooners’ tape closely, the only takeaway a grounded coach can takeaway is … the only reason the Sooners didn’t beat the Irish is that Landry Jones read his reads correctly, but missed his receivers. His passes were, in critical sitches, far south of what we see in the GCL in Cincinnati. That’s high school for those of you that need a cheat sheet.
Trust me, the Tide will not miss open looks.
Unless the Irish consistently bring 5 or 6, we will get our butts kicked.
Write in down.
]]>Then again, if an injured Jones or his replacement can’t handle Louis Nix up front, that jello’s gonna freeze up real quick.
]]>The game will be won or lost right here. Alabama’s strategy is to pound it, pound it and pound it until it breaks. If the running game starts clicking they’ll mix in a few play action bombs.
ND’s Dline substitutes will be key to keeping us fresh and competitive. If we control Bama’s running game, we win the game.
Epic battle. Should be fun to watch.
