acf domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/elkabong/dev.ndnation.com/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6131I’d also highlight that when a coach who is a winner moves on, you can judge how well they’re respected by how many coaches come with them (a la Urban from Utah and Mack Brown from UNC vs Rodriguez from WVa). All of Kelly’s guys came with him. They know he’s a winner, and they know him dramatically better than any of us.
While I don’t have any questions about the 10yr future for ND, my question mark on this team focuses mainly on 2 positions – NT and ILB. Its vital that Ian Williams is able to fill a gap and draw center/guard attention, thus allowing our ILBs to make plays. Its also vital that the ILBs fill gaps against opponent guards. I’m very confident that Te’o can do that. Its HUGE for McDonald/Poz/Carlo can fill that requirement.
If Williams and the ILB opposite Manti come thru this year, this could start looking like ’64.
]]>He is a tough act to follow, but Brian Kelly begins to show similarities, enough to start dreaming of a resurgence of ND Football. May it be so.
]]>Yes I know UC got squashed by Florida in the Sugar Bowl. 2 factors – a po’d team of 4 and 5 star players were playing a team of 2 and 3 stars who had lost their coach. (BTW – if anyone has a suggestion of how better to handle a transition like that please speak up)
And i like the fact that the Coach has a daughter named Grace. It’s nice to know that Grace Kelly will be going to Notre Dame games this fall.
