Redfield’s hit was not a cheap shot. Gardner was moving toward the ball and at that point becomes a member of the defense. And besides, if Max doesn’t blow him up, Onwualu was just about to.

It was so satisfying watching the Irish bury Michigan. But it was really disappointing seeing Redfield take that cheap shot on their quarterback, injuring him and nullifying what would have been a perfect final play, and then laughing about it on the sidelines. ND should expect a lot better than that from its players.

Great game by ND. Michigan didn’t have a chance. ND to tough and great QB. And receivers were fantastic.

I watched last years game again. Tommy played very well and reallymoved the team down the field with ease. One bad interception and two or 3 blown coverages on D were the difference. My point is we were really the better team last year and I think we are much better this year.
