Not looking like a blowout after Q1. By the way, I didn’t intend any insult to Rutgers’ players when I referred to them as “these meatballs”. They’re talented and they give it their all. I just called them that because a lot of them are Jersey guys.

Game simply begs question of why an 8-4 ND is bothering to play in another of the 30 + Sports Bar Bowls. Davie, Weis and Kelly have all shown that these extra games have little carryover, with the only benefit possibly being bowl bonus checks to coaching staffs.

Only positive for TV broadcast is that cameramen may be able to show stadium with people, unlike some of the earlier bowl games this week, where camera crews worked diligently to avoid revealing acres of empty seats.

This bowl is a no win situation for the Irish but that is their own fault. Bottom line is the Irish better win and dominate this game and win by 3 td’s. I say Irish win in the Big Apple 38-17.
