This game could go either way. Expect the irish to: Post no more than 140 yds rushing Golson to make around 30 passing attempts Expect purdue to: Put up around 300 yds offense ND 31, PURDUE 27

I think this game could end up being closer than some think.
Purdue’s D-line may produce some pressure now and again. However, I feel like ND’s Offensive front will hold up. I expect ND’s backs to rush for 180 or so yards today. I expect Golson to make about 30 pass attempts. Probably an interception or two.
It’s the Irish secondary that worries me. I expect Purdue to have a 300 yard output offensively. I think ND will emerge victorious, however.

Good Lord, Vannie – If I hadn’t read “Purdue”, I might have thought we were facing a powerhouse like USC or OK. Once bitten, twice shy? While somewhat relieved after reading your prediction, I am reminded why our schedule is ranked the most difficult in the country – virtually no patsies. We have a sloppy game, anyone on the schedule can beat us. That being said, I sense a little something different with this team. While I’m still siding with the Missouri state of mind, I expect a win tomorrow.

Purdue has upset the Irish more than any other school. Hopefully, they won’t ruin another Saturday for me.

I am really interested to watch this game. I think it will tell us a lot about what Kelly can do with the talent he has recruited. I think ND will win but maybe not by a blowout. This may be a tougher game than most posters here believe. I hope I am wrong. Go Irish

No way Purdue puts up 24 on Notre Dame unless we lose some starters. Irish will rush for over 200 yards. With a QB who can actually run, Purdue has its work cut out for them in trying to stop all the options ND has on offense. The only was ND loses is via turnovers. ND should score more than 30.

You guys are forgetting that the safeties won’t be up at the line this week like they were against Navy’s option. Purdue won’t put up more than 14
