12-2 as a starter. What have you done with your life?

Drop about 7,8 and even 9 at times, and mix up the pressure. Since Rees is not a running QB, this stacks up heavily against him and consequently the offense. Against sound tackling teams, our offense seems to sputter. I’m just thankful our defense is good enough to account for that.

As for the Rees bashing – come on guys, just look at teams around the country to figure it out – Texas has a true QB in there that, even though talented, is doing squat for his offense. I think that Kelly thinks that Rees, though limited, gives us the best opportunity to win. Say what you will say, but you can’t pin him on the Michigan loss – the secondary forgot to cover and play football. The USF game? He played half of it, and only came it when we were in a hole. USC? We were defeated on all sides of the game, plain and simple.

You just can’t pin everything on him – the losses, the close wins. Sometimes you just have grind ’em out games and you have to come out on top one way or another. ND did that today and I’m proud of our guys fighting through a BC team that seemed to have a chip on their shoulder and seemed to know the Kelly playbook frontwards and backwards.

That being said, I am looking forward to seeing Hendrix getting some playing time next year, if not sooner.

Ya that throw in stride really put him in a vunerable position. It was an unlucky break. Devastated for Jonas. Not even close to being Rees’s fault though

TJ Jones is lucky to be in one piece. I am absolutely gutted about Gray’s injury.

Many of them have beer muscles and they feel they are going to win today. I wonder if our team and fans will stand for that.
