The tape shows the most confused bunch of young men since “Who’s on First”. The COACHES did not know was supposed be in the game and who out. And, of course, the players get blamed for their confusion.
That was a pitiful display of team-disorganization on national televison. As my father would have said from his grave: “Bush League”.

How did that work out for you, Tim?

No idea how the game went but you predicted ND 35 ASU 31, which was very close to the final score. ND’s uniforms were horrible but ASU’s just flat out sucked the big wazoo. They looked like a bad 1970s van conversion paint job. Oh well. Boom roasted. By the way did the Irish sing the alma mater?

Sure hope you weren’t planning to “pay off your mortgage” this week.

ND has talented kids who need to be coached up to achieve their potential. I said last week’s game would make or break the season. This one has to stop the bleeding. Go Irish!

I think ASU is overrated and the Irish play well this week. If they lose this game its going to be an ugly season. Irish win 28-25.

By Stanford, I mean they are going to destroy us if Rees is the QB.

OU was much more than just a second loss. That game was very much winnable even with the three turnovers. When you pretty much have the entire fourth quarter to go and you are down by two TDs–read two possessions–and you complete 1 of 8, then it is time for a change. Zaire is the future. He needs to get some reps so that next year he come out ready to go and we can RS the kid that committed and use Golson as a backup. This season is over because Rees does not give us the ability to play close games against good teams–Stanford anyone?–and is only backup material at best. It’s time to step into the future.
