The best thing with Ishaq Williams and Aaron Lynch, they are early enrollees, which means that as soon as they show up to class, they either have to sign and play for ND or sit out a year.

While “verbals” are interesting, talk is cheap. Let’s see what the state of the recruiting class is on Feb 5th. Then we can make an accurate assessment.

Great job closing on these guys. It’s been a long time since we had a real dominant defense. That’s what wins championships. I know we have Stockton and Nix in the wings ready to go, but I think we need to get another quality defensive tackle to clog up the middle, recruit at least one every year. Tired of losing out on Austin, McCoy etc.

charlie was able to bring thease recruits but he just couldnt develope them on the defensive side of the ball. Remember it was Weis that recruited Manti Teo. Jimmy Clausen and Mike Floyd were also Weis recruits. Either way im happy with Brian Kelly and how he is coaching and recruiting.
